Skiing and snowboarding
The Zillertal superskipass offers exclusive access to all 179 modernski lifts of Zillertal that take you from 580 metres up to 3250 metres above the sea level. There are 515 kilometres perfectly groomed slopes where excellent skiers as well as beginners, families and epicures experience sporty slopes, sunny routes and wide carving slopes.
Pure skiing pleasure on the local mountains of Mayrhofen
Within a five-minute walk you reach the valley station of the spectacular Ahorn cable car that takes you to Leisure Mount Ahorn. The skiing area at the Ahorn plateau is situated below the 2.973 metre-high Ahornspitz and offers relatively flat slopes and the Funslope Ahorn for relaxed skiers and families. Experienced skiers and snowboarders rush down the 5,5 kilometres long ski run to Mayrhofen from where you reach the apartment house “Lifeblood“ within few minutes. If there is enough snow you can ski directly to the terrace.
The deckchairs at White Lounge, an igloo village, offer pleasant sunrays and a wonderful mountain panorama with delicious drinks and relaxing music. Leisurely hikes and unique ski tours provide undescribable winter happiness! You can reach the cable car Penkenbahn within a ten-minute walk or you take the free ski bus. The bus stop is opposite your holiday apartment and so you can get to Zillertal Ski & Glacierworld 3000, the largest skiing area of Zillertal. Penken, Ahorn, Rastkogel, Eggalm and the Hintertux glacier merge to almost 200 kilometres of pistes. Freeriders leave their traces in the glittering deep snow and freestylers enjoy the perfectly shaped Vans Park at Mount Penken, where pros and rookies find a spectacular set up.
